Artist's Comments
It's not finished yet, and probably won't be for a while since I don't really get time to work on it anymore, but this is an oil painting from my art class. I used a printed and croped version of this picture [link] as my refrence, or still life if you will, because the point was to have a folded photo and draw that object and where you stuck it.
It's too bad that I noticed I made a really bad mistake from being a bit lazy in the first stage waaaaay too late to fix it.  It's not huge so you might not be able to see it, but it screams at me whenever I look at it, screams of hate and pain. =[ Oh well, first oil work ever for me, so I'm still pretty proud. =]I might put some of the stages up in my scraps later since I took pictures of them with my cell phone. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
